I called Liz the day before I was ready to make an offer on my first home. I had been keeping an eye on the market and needed someone that could get up to speed quickly and that was going to push an unmotivated seller. Liz was unbelievably attentive and very sharp. She is exactly what any buyer or seller could want in a real estate professional. I am going to recommend her to everyone I know and I consider myself a tough customer! Great experience

Lindsay Dreyer and the City Chic team were fantastic to work with! When it came time to sell my NW co-op, I knew that I wanted to work with an agent that would make sure my listing had a strong internet presence. She arranged for fantastic photographs to be taken that really represented the feel of the building and apartment, down to the antique door fixtures. Lindsay knew my neighborhood well and which things to highlight and market to potential buyers. She was consistently available and responsive to all communication. Always ready to talk or meet during a time that worked with my schedule. Even in a buyer’s market, I feel she was able to sell my property in a timely manner (3 months from listing to closing) and get a fair price. We had a terrific experience working with Lindsay Dreyer on the purchase of an apartment in Dupont Circle/Logan Circle. She knows the DC market well (the current state of the market, its history, and how DC is doing relative to the rest of the country). We were initially undecided on neighborhoods and amenities. She showed us a diverse array of inventory and did a great job of listening to our reactions to help us zero in on the listings from which we ultimately made our choice. LeiYana Stevenson is the consummate professional. I have to admit that I am skeptical of realtors from past experiences, but she was impressive. She knows the DC area and quickly adapted her search to my needs and wants. When two of my most discerning friends told me to use "Agent Lindsay" Dreyer to buy my first home, I knew she had to be good. I wanted to get in before the deadline for the tax credit and our timing was short. Lindsay MET and EXCEEDED every expectation I had for my real estate agent. I have now been in my condo for almost 2 months and could not be happier!

ACCESSIBLE. Lindsay made herself available whenever I needed her (even Easter Sunday to view a property before an open house because I was convinced it was my "dream condo" after seeing pictures online). EXCELLENT JUDGEMENT. When a crisis occurred a week before my closing, I was on vacation. Lindsay knew that there was nothing I could do to fix the problem and decided not to tell me (so I wouldn't freak out and would enjoy my time off). She successfully pulled every string she could while I was away and I closed on time! I didn't learn about all the chaos until my final walk through -- but I'm pretty sure Lindsay didn't get much sleep that week (but I did!).

GREAT TEACHER. I am not an idiot, but I didn't know much about real estate at all going into it. Lindsay simplified the process so I could understand and feel ownership over an otherwise bewildering experience! I am now the one teaching my friends about it.

HONEST. The place I ended up buying was overpriced according to Lindsay, but I really loved it and wanted to put in an offer. She helped me figure out an appropriate counter offer and was realistic about the pros and cons of the properties we viewed.

Lindsay is the most motivated, enthusiastic, intuitive and REAL real estate agent I have ever met. When my brother and I were looking for a place in DC, she constantly found condos and townhouses for us to check out, and there wasn't a weekend or free week day that we didn't at least see a few. Patience is a virtue, and she learned more about us as we continued to look, and found the perfect place for us. She knew after the first two weekends looking at condos that we really wanted a townhouse (and we didn't even really know what we wanted!)...and she never hesitated to be real with us, telling us what we did or did not really want to see. In my opinion, that's what anybody should want in an agent...someone who will be REAL with them, honest and true. The buying experience was great!

I moved from Belgium to NoVA in January 2008. I've never had a great experience with Realtors so I was really surprised when Lindsay responded to a thread I posted on http://city-data.com. Her signature said she was a Realtor so I followed the links through to her site. So many realtor's have the most ususable websites--but not Lindsay. She took the time to create a unique and modern website which shows she is serious about her profession.

Before I found a house, I needed a place to stay for a few months and Lindsay offered to go by the house to make sure it was in a safe neighborhood, etc. She did this without any guarantee I would choose her as my Realtor.

Looking for houses was a blast and after seeing just a few she got a real sense for what I was looking for. She didn't waste my time taking me to houses that I wouldn't like. Instead, in a matter of days we found the perfect house for my family.

The buying experience was great. Our bank said it would take 45 days to close, so she found us another lender and we closed within just a couple of weeks.

Very helpful for a newbie.

Lindsay is terrifiic. I always thought of real estate agents as either total flakes or complete slimeballs, and was thrilled to find that Lindsay is neither. After Bank of America completely dropped the ball on my mortgage, she hooked me up with a lender who was able to pull my loan together in less than two weeks (while I was in Mexico) to close on time.

She has a good undertanding of all aspects of home-buying, which is very helpful for a newbie. She also has good taste and quickly understands what you are looking for without pushing you to spend more than your maximum. She is very flexible, once meeting me to look at places on a Saturday night from 9-11pm since that was the only time I could go. Lindsay is also very tech-savvy and rapidly fires back via either text message or email.

I would absolutely recommend Lindsay to others - not only will you appreciate her professionalism, expertise, resourcefulness, and flexibility, you will actually have a good time in the process.
